As the Alaskan dealer SludgeHammer  systems work with your existing septic tank to transform the biology  into a thriving aerobic environment. Powered by a small air pump, the  aerobic bacterial generator helps the biology consume the organic  solids, leaving behind clean, nutrient-rich wastewater to flow to your  leach field and into the ground. A conventional system lets the solids  settle to the bottom to await removal by a pumping truck while  the germs form a thick black sludge that eventually clogs your leach  field.
